Winchester, NH: This past Saturday, the management of Monadnock Speedway made an early decision to cancel the evening’s event due to the forecast of heavy rains coming in during the afternoon and evening.

The next two weeks at the high banked ¼ mile track will be filled with a lot of action. This Saturday, August 29th, Monadnock Speedway will host Biker’s Night where anyone who attends the races on a motorcycle, including passengers, will receive free general admission. The race program includes Modifieds, Outlaw Pros, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, 4-cylinder Enduros, Full Size Enduros plus a demolition derby following the race event. Race time is at 6pm.

The following week, the speedway will welcome back the Northeast Midget Association for the traditional Labor Day Weekend event.  The NEMA race will be in memory of long time NEMA supporter, Marilyn Angelillo and will be titled Northeastern Midget Association’s Marilyn’s Passion Race. The line up for the race will include the very talented stars of NEMA plus a special appearance from Ted Christopher wheeling around a Bertrand’s entry. The special event will also include Modifieds, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks and Full Size Enduros. Racing will start at 6pm.
