MODIFIED SHOW DOWN AT SEEKONK’S

RACING AGAINST BREAST CANCER

SEEKONK, MA- Modified Racing Series reigning champion, and current point’s leader Jon McKennedy, has filed his Super Modified entry for this Saturday’s Racing Against Breast Cancer, at Seekonk Speedway. Driving the # 79 Dunigan Super Modified, Jon will return to ISMA, after a two year absence, where he was the 2005 Rookie of the Year. McKennedy will return to the track that he first competed at in a Super Modified. “Seekonk is a great race track and I always enjoy racing there. 12 CARQUEST Distribution Centers. Alderton will give the command to send

Over 150 Drivers set to compete

in ‘Atlantic Stock Car Championships’ weekend at Centre for Speed

September 29, 2010 – Shediac (N.B.) – Over 150 drivers from throughout the four Atlantic provinces and the State of Maine will converge on the Centre for Speed (CFS), Atlantic Canada’s Super Speedway and Metro Moncton’s ‘Playground of Power’, for this weekend’s 10th Annual Maple Leaf Foods Atlantic Stock Car Championships, the final event of the 2010 stock car racing season in Atlantic Canada.

AMERICAN CANADIAN TOUR ANNOUNCES PENALTIES FOLLOWING STE EUSTACHE 300

Waterbury, VT – Following the 300 lap event at the Autodrome Ste-Eustache last Sunday, September 26, 2010, a penalty was issued to the # 3QC team of Sylvain Lacombe. The driver is responsible for the actions of his team and following an on-track incident, the team’s actions along pit road during the event and subsequently at the conclusion of the event, mandated a penalty for the # 3QC team under the following ACT Rulebook criteria.

upon us this weekend, Stafford young guns Tommy Barrett, Jr. and Matt Galko
are separated by only 6 points, or three positions on the racetrack, in the
chase for the 2010 SK Light Modified track championship. Galko has been at
the front of the points standings from June until the Final Friday
Night-Shoot-Out on Sept. 17th, where a Barrett victory combined with Galko
wrecking out of the race, put Barrett at the top of the standings heading

BRIT ANDERSEN RETURNING TO STAFFORD’S SK LIGHT RANKS FOR CARQUEST FALL FINAL
WEEKEND

(Stafford Springs, CT)—As the SK Light Modified cars take to the Stafford
Motor Speedway asphalt one last time during the 38th Annual CARQUEST Fall
Final Weekend, the division will have one of its winningest drivers back in
the starting field. Brit Andersen, who won 13 SK Light races in three
seasons of competition, will return to the track in his family owned #70.
“I’m really looking forward to getting back in the car,” said Andersen. “I
didn’t even know I was going to be driving it until last Thursday.”
Andersen has his sights set on taking the checkered flag and beating Tommy
Barrett, Jr., who has won an astounding 10 races this season, and to prove

PASS Mod 2010 rewind: Shaw dominates on way to title

NAPLES ME (9/28) Andy Shaw passed under the checkers first in the PASS Mod season finale at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway to claim his fifth win of the 2010 season and the 2010 PASS Mod Championship.

The Center Conway New Hampshire racer’s 2010 statistics are enviable, to say the least. A batting average of .500 is unheard of in most every sport but Shaw managed to win fifty percent of the ten race PASS Mod schedule and finish in the top five in all ten starts.
