HURRICANE PAYNE TAKES NETS CHECKERED FLAG

Lowell, MA- Hurricane Howard Payne of Shelton CT, takes the win from Truck Champion Lindeman in the 25-Lap New England Truck Series feature race last Saturday night at the Waterford Speedbowl. Andy Lindeman #3 of Poestenkill New York and Derek Chriss #12 of Averill New York led the eleven truck field to the green flag start. Lindeman took the lead with Chriss and Keith Chapman #22 of Mystic CT in tow along with Duane Noll #2 of Monroe CT. By lap ten, the first caution came out with Bert Ouellette #15 of Dayville CT, Ronnie Oldham Jr #38 of Westbrook CT, and Nate Bubello #90 of Holliston MA, all involved in turn one. By lap thirteen, Rookie driver Corey Coates #75 of Ledyard CT, pulls out the next caution with a front flat. On lap seventeen, the last caution comes out with Oldham, Ouellette, Bubello, Coates and the 21x of Jason Lafayette of Somers CT , which closed up the field. Payne #0 starting last , moved up to the second starting position on the restart and took the lead on lap eighteen. On lap twenty-one, the #17 Chevy truck of Jonathon Avery from Quakerhill CT, retired to the infield with terminal mechanical issues ending his night. By lap twenty-three, the top three challenge was on with side by side racing for the battle of positions. Payne, Lindeman, and Noll put on a great battle swapping positions as Lindeman tried to hold on. On the final lap, Payne used the outside groove passing Lindeman with a half a trucks length taking the win. Final finish: 1. Payne, 2. Lindeman, 3: Noll, 4: Chapman, 5: Chriss, 6: Ouellette, 7: Oldham, 8: Lafayette, 9: Bubello, 10: Coates, 11: Avery. Valenti Modified Series Ready For Monadnock Spring Dash

Canaan, NH. — The April tradition of the Valenti Modified Racing Series appearing at
Monadnock Speedway, Winchester, (NH) continues Saturday night, April 30, when the
popular touring division, now in it’s eighth year, invades the Monadnock Speedway,
Winchester, (NH), for the running of the “Spring Dash 100.” The annual event is the
second of a 17-race schedule for New England’s premier modified series.

Monadnock Shows Interest In Granite State Pro-Stock Series

Canaan, NH — As he did back in 2003 when he threw his support at the new Modified Racing Series, Monadnock Speedway promotor Larry Cirillo has agreed to two race dates for the new Granite State Pro-Stock Series.

Series director John Hoyt has announced a meeting was held this past week opening the door for a visit to the Winchester, NH., speedway for two dates and possibly a third.

NEW ENGLAND TRUCK SERIES 2010 CHAMPION ANDY LINDEMAN, CROWNED ALONG WITH MONADNOCK NASCAR CHAMPIONS

The New England Truck Series joined in with Monadnock Speedway Competitors, Car Owners, and Race Teams on Saturday, November 20th, at the Log Cabin located in Holyoke, Ma to celebrate the 2010 race season and officially crown the champions with 400 people in attendance to reflect on the season. Michelle Cloutier, the speedway’s General Manager, welcomed the race teams and thanked all of them for their dedication and support throughout the 2010 season even in these tough economic times.

She also addressed the teams on how they all work together to make the speedway one of the best and most competitive short track in the East.

Monadnock Speedway Crowns Champs

Holyoke, Ma: Monadnock Speedway Competitors, Car Owners and Race Teams joined together on Saturday, November 20th at the Log Cabin located in Holyoke, Ma to celebrate the 2010 race season and officially crown the champions. Over 400 people were present to reflect on the 2010 season including the New England Truck Series who were in attendance to accept their hardware.

Michelle Cloutier, the speedway’s General Manager, welcomed the race teams and thanked all of them for their dedication and support throughout the 2010 season even in these tough economic times. She also addressed the teams on how they all work together to make the speedway one of the best and most competitive short track in the East.

PERRY WINS THE BATTLE OF THE CHEVY’S NETS RACE

The New England Truck Series (NETS), second to last points race at Monadnock Speedway’s finale this past Saturday, resulted with another first place winner in NETS opening season.

The # 83 FEB Construction sponsored Chevy, of Gee Perry of Grandby CT, took the checkered flag for his first NETS win this season.

NETS RACES MONADNOCKS FINALE

The New England Truck Series (NETS), will be participating this Saturday September 25, in Monadnock Speedway’s Finale Race program in Winchester NH, along with several other touring series in attendance. The points battle will be on between the Chevy powered Wells Communication sponsored #3 truck of Andy Lindeman of Poestenkill NY, and the #16 Chevy powered Lee Boy Construction Equipment sponsored truck of Willy Auchmoody of Highland NY, with a few points difference between them for the lead.

The second battle going on is between the East Hampton Auto Parts sponsored Chevy truck #85 of Greg Butler Jr. of East Hampton CT, against another Chevy powered FEB Construction sponsored truck #83 Gee Perry of Grandby CT, with a one point difference for third in the points.

Sportsman Modified Challenge

Winchester, NH: On Saturday, September 25th, Monadnock Speedway will host their Traditional Super Saturday Season Finale. Newly added to the program is the 50 lap Sportsman Modified Challenge slated to be the highlight of the special event. The speedway management is very excited for this special challenge as many competitors from Twin State Speedway and Stafford Motor Speedway will join together with the competitors of Monadnock Speedway to do battle. This race will definitely keep the fans on the edge of the seat as there are many local and visiting competitors bringing a lot of talent to the ¼ mile high banked track in the ever growing division.

Alexander, Gray Crowned Monadnock Champions

Winchester, NH: New faces and old friends are still coming out to the high-banks of Monadnock Speedway as the Super Stocck Division would welcome #69 of Jacob Carey. Aric Blanchette and Adam Brooks returned to the Outlaw Pros and #84 of Joey Cipriano joined the Sportsmen Modified event. Mark Mclay would pull double duty with #51 Tour Type Modified for owner Warren Mordenti and also compete in the #15x Sportman Modified.

Winchester, NH – August 14, 2010 – The RF Logic / Bot-L Gas Pro Four Modifieds hit Manadnock Speedway for the third of four events to be held there this season. Fifteen cars took the green in the qualifying rounds, but as Frank Perry had mechanical difficulties in his heat, only Fourteen started the feature race.
