Hudson N.H. –Jay “the driver formerly known as The Battering Ram” Maki ran a flawless race in the thirty lap Outlaw main this past Sunday to pull down his second win of the 2011 racing season. Hudson N.H. –The 9th annual Don Hayes Memorial was held this past Sunday, August 21st at Hudson International Speedway. The race honored the speedways longtime photographer/videographer who passed away in April 2002. Hayes was a photo buff returning home from WW ll and looking for some action when he came across auto racing and began a love affair that lasted until his passing.

Hudson N.H. – Hudson International Speedway held a double feature night for all three of its regular divisions this past Sunday, July 31st.

John Morin Jr. had the best night winning both Rookie Stock features. Morin Jr. extended his points lead with his third and fourth wins of the season. Morin Jr. started deep in both fields and was methodical in slicing through slower cars on his way to both victories. Also in the top five after Morin Jr. in the first feature were Dave Helliwell, Jerry Lepage, Bob Riopelle and Dan Murphy Jr. In the top five in the second feature after Morin Jr. were Corrie Merritt, Helliwell, Billy Clement Jr. and Murphy Jr.

Hudson N.H. –Jarrod Soucy won his fourth Thunder Light feature of the 2011 racing season this past Sunday July 24th at Hudson International Speedway.

Carlos Esquivel had the best race of his career leading the first half of the feature until Soucy got past him. Following Soucy at the finish were Justin Beecher, Chad Wendell, Meegan Lord and Esquivel. Soucy won the heat.

Hudson N.H. – Jared Soucy picked up his third Thunder Light feature win of the 2011 racing season this
past Sunday evening at Hudson International Speedway. Carlos Esquivel brought the field to the drop
of the green flag and led the first three laps of the caution free event. Soucy took over at that point and
Justin Beecher followed Soucy past Esquivel into second place. Soucy and Beecher waged a side by side
battle for the lead eventually being joined by Chad Wendell to make it a three way battle. With Beecher
and Wendell battling for second it took a little pressure off Soucy and he was able to cross the finish line
a few car lengths ahead of Beecher in second place and Wendell in third place. Meegan Lord was fourth
followed by Esquivel and Mike Erickson Jr. Beecher won the heat.
